Anna's love affair with plants started as soon as she was able to smell the lily-of-the valley that grew alongside her family home and assist her father with their urban vegetable garden. Her interests landed her at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Botany. Anna has worked in ecological restoration, outdoor and environmental education, held managerial and supervisory roles for a native plant grower in the Midwest as well as a Denver gardening company and a Colorado landscaping operation before starting Blazing Star Landscapes. She hopes to cultivate her love of plants by sharing it with her clients to create and maintain the gardens of their dreams.
